Clear Moving VISIONS........???

Sometimes when i'm inbetween sleep and awake i get visions. They are usually just mundane images like buildings or various sceneries. They appear in a little box that looks like a movie screen in my head.

Last month I had this vision of being in a car....well it wasnt likd I was actually in the car but it was like I was watching an movie that was being filmed from the back seat of someone's car. The car was going throug a tunnel and coming out of it. Then it faded away.

What is that all about?

They are not dreams. It's as clear as day and I'm totally awake ( while I'm sleeping ) when this happens.

I'ts never anything ';important'; like some accident or anything crazy. Just mundane stuff.

Can anyone tell me then why do I have these things?

....AND PLEASE NO STUPID ANSWERS......

I have had this happen to me on occassions too.. i'm really not clear on what it is but this one thing i am sure. A message is trying to be relayed to you. For me i was on the phone with this lady and i drifted off to sleep while still awake and a man standing at a door flashed almost within a split second..but i was able to see what he was wearing from head to toe even details about him. even while seeing him i felt things as well. i felt like this man was her husband she had yet to meet..when i descirbed this man i had seen to the lady on the phone she told me that by his description thats exactly the kinda guys she attracted to. it happened again once concerning me . there is a message in it for you. you said that you were in a car coming out of a tunnel. try to remember if there were feelings associated with the vision and piece it together. coming out of a tunnel though hmmm i would have to say that maybe you are in darkness or in some way in your life lost, trapped, or surrounded. and you WILL come out of that place. but i dunno because i don't know what feelings you had that were associated with the vision. hope this was helpfulClear Moving VISIONS........???
I once had a vision that I was cleaning out cupboards for someone I knew, and I was to keep doing it all the while I was to ';watch over'; this particular person so they are not stopped or sidetracked from what they had to do.

I started interceding in prayer for the person in my vision right away, and for several days more till I felt the need was no longer urgent. Met the person from my vision a few days later, and they were describing something that had happened days earlier.....

Your dream is that you are in a car that is going through a tunnel and then comming out into the light again?

Have you recently had a ';breakthrough'; within your mind, marriage, relationship, work, Faith, etc.,.?

That would be my guess...

I think its just your minds way of gearing down to get ready to sleep. I have similar experiences when I am not quite asleep yet.
These are simply mental images generated by your subconscious mind.

I am a chronic insomniac, so I have become accustomed to recognizing the images that my brain generates when it's ready to (finally) fall asleep.
Well sounds like astro projection. This is not good and seek some help from your church. God Bless and allow them to pray for you.

what happens is our body goes into a state of paralysis induced by chemicals at the point of dream sleep to stop us acting out our dreams

if this is released too soon , or we wake during it

it can often bring on feelings of paralysis accompanied by waking dreams

this can seem very real and very frightening

but it happens to roughly 40 % of the popualtion at some point to some degree

I know exactly how I want the piece I am working on to look...

Will work with it forever to obtain that vision.....

Other areas of my life are very hazy....

My vision is doing something weird. I broke my glasses a few weeks ago and I am almost blind but for some reason I can see what I am typing right now and my back is straight on the chair. You should wear your eyeglasses when you need them. If you do not need eyeglasses for close work such as using a PC or reading then remove them.

That's a difficult question to answer.

If you can see clearly, and normally you can't, there are a few reasons this might be happening...

1. change in medications.

2. eyesight can change as a person matures, or with changes in medical issues.

3. your myopia (near-sightedness) may benefit from close up reading without glasses.

4. sometimes myofascial (soft tissue, tendons, etc..) tension ( or release of tension ) can cause vision changes

Why does my vision get clearer when I close my eyes a little, and diabetes question...?

My vision is quite blurry, I am going to a doctor soon, but I have a question. Why when I look at far away things and it is blurry, I close my eyes a little bit not all the way, it's more like a stretch, the vision gets clear, but then when I look at the same spot without stretching my eye like that it is blurry again? Sometimes when I get adjusted to outside view and I come in some building it is blurry. I don't have diabetes. The only similar symptoms that I have that can be associated with diabetes is my weight loss and the vision, but still when I make the eye stretch, vision gets clear. I have also exercised a lot and eat healthier food now so that's where the weight loss comes from. The only family member that has diabetes is my grandma's brother.Why does my vision get clearer when I close my eyes a little, and diabetes question...?
Your vision gets clearer because squinting reduces the lens

area that your eye has to focus. If you did get diabetes, it

might also cause glaucoma. A glaucoma test is one of the

early detectors of diabetes. Get screened for Lasik (its free

by law) they will test you for glaucoma. As for your blurry vision,

an ophthalmologist can diagnose the problem quickly and

you're squinting to make things easier to see. it's an optician you need to see, not a doctor. contacts or glasses should sort you out. if your sight gets worse you will need to squint more and more to see and (trust me) you look very silly when squinting! plus having bad eyesight that's not corrected by glasses or contacts can give you headaches.
No one on the internet can answer if you have diabetes, however the rate for diabetes is increasing every year and you don't necessarily have to have a family history of it.

You need to see an eye doctor and/or your primary care physician to find out if you are.
Er, I don't know why you would think that your vision is somehow related to being diabetic.. when you're not diabetic.

It sounds like you have a simple refractive error. As in, you need glasses. Nothing major or life-changing.. just, you need glasses.
You can control and even get rid of the diabetes problem by changing your diet, most likely. I suggest you go see a Certified Nutritional Therapist to have them test you for any deficiencies you may have and to recommend a diet and possibly some supplements.

In regard to your eye issue, many eye problems can be traced directly back to nutritional deficiencies. Also, there are some genetic reasons, but it is mostly nutritional. The reason you can see better when you squint is the same reason you can take 2 pieces of thin cardboard and put a small round hole in each of them. Place them in front of your eye and they will work as glasses and cause you to see better. The light entering your eye will be more focused on one area of your retina and not rely on the total shape of the eyeball.

new born sees shadows and around 1-2 months is blury but better. it gets slerer when they get head controle around 4 months. thats what my baby nephew ryden did.When do newborn's vision become clearer?

Make sure you are giving your baby colostrum. You will be able to feed your baby only if you are relaxed.

So my suggestion is relax, you are carrying a healthy baby.

at birth they can only see about a foot in front of them. it gradually increases, and by 6 months they can see perfectly.
It increases week by week. I know by about 3 1/2 months, to 4 months they can see much much better!

What you are talking about is related to what is called depth of focus. If you have ever taken pictures with the old non digital 35mm SLR cameras, this is exactly the same. If you want to take a picture of a person about 5 feet away and also want the mountain top (miles away) to be in focus then you make the aperature of the camera very small. The small aperature extends the depth of focus of the lens so that both the person and the mountain APPEAR to be in focus. The mountain top is not actually focused upon by the lens BUT because the mountain falls within the depth of focus then it APPEARS to be in focus. Now, if for effect, you want the person to be clear but the mountain top to be blurry you would make the aperature very large. This will compress the depth of focus range so that the mountain top is not only out of focus but it also APPEARS to be blurry because it is outside the depth of focus range for the lens.

Now lets apply this to your situation. If your glasses were exactly the power they should be then what you are looking at will be in focus. BUT if you are having to squint to see clearly, than what is happening is that the size of your pupil is large enough that the depth of focus of your eye does not extend to the object that is blurry. By squinting your eyes, though, your are artificcially creating a smaller pupil (aperature) so as to extend your depth of focus to include the object which you are wanting to see more clearly. I had this question too!! It's because your eye lashes act are so fine that they act as a lens (if that makes sense). Hope that helps! Cuz it doesn't sound like it even makes sense. but it's true... :)
When you squint, you make the opening the light passes through smaller. This means that less of your lens is exposed, and there is less opportunity for individual rays to go astray, so you see more clearly. I'm nearsighted, and way back before I got glasses (when I was around 8 or so), I used to do essentially the same thing by curling my index finger and thumb to make a small pinhole, and looking through it.
';the pinhole effect';. eliminating ';paraxial'; or off-axis rays.

its the optical phenomenon thats the basis for pinhole glasses...

More clearer is bad grammar, but I don't suppose you really care. On the dubject of alchohol it should be noted that rather than clear your vision, it should blurr it. It can also cause your coordination to be impared as well as your judgment.
Well depending..if you are out partying NO, if you are home in deep thought, to a point.Your thoughts come out more clearly after a few, but then you just get pissed .........well, then you have a few more and pass out.

Unfortunately there are no vitamins you can take to decrease your prescription or lessen your degrees (I assume you have astigmatism). Also, carrots are myths about improving vision. This does not work. I think it stemmed from the fact that vitamin A is needed to produce a specific protein in your eye that allows it to capture light from the environment and make an image that is sent to and interpreted by your brain as vision. A deficiency in vitamins will cause problems. However, an overabundance won't help any further.

the pinhole effect: you're eliminating paraxial light rays. it works for MOST rx's. a known optical phenomenon.

When you squint, the contractions of the muscles change the shape of the eyeball and lens which changes your vision temporarily.
Yes, it can. The explanation is rather technical, but simply put as possible, squinting puts pressure on various parts of the eyeball and temporarily improves vision. It can also change the amount of light refracted (sent) into the eye.

In fact, one sign of myopia (nearsightedness; inability to see things farther away) is that vision improves when squinting.

I am myopic. I have 20-100 vision, which means that a line of print (such as on a billboard) that most people can read at 20 feet, I have to be 20 feet away to read. Fortunately, my eyeglasses correct my vision to 20/40.
I'm not sure if it does. Most people squint when they're confused. When you can't read it you get confused.

It does seem to help a bit, though. Just like pulling on the edges of your eyelids (even though it twists a bit) makes some areas easier to see. Squinting isn't good for your eyes, though, and leads to headaches. Sorry I don't know more about it.
I'm severely nearsighted and squinting doesn't really help me all that much. It definitely doesn't help me to see inch high numbers on an alarm clock that's only about six feet away from me when I first wake up in the morning. I have to put my glasses on or move closer to read them.

I have had vision problems for the last couple years and it has gotten worse recently. Went to eye dr.s and they gave me glasses and full opthalmologist workup. The glasses don't work and everything has become blurry and sort of double vision/ halos are there all the time. I have found that when I give a little pressure and push on my eyes like on the top where my eyelids are, my vision actually clears up. The strange thing is that it is both eyes that do the same thing and it clears both eyes. I guess it is from pushing on my cornea but I have searched and I am not finding any similar experiences. It's exactly what you discovered..pushing on the eyeball. You are temporarily reshaping the pupil lens which results in the better vision. This is how lasik surgery is performed.

Lasik surgery ';reshapes'; the lens according to a computer analysis and earlier tests of the eyes. Then the doctor cuts a flap in the cornea to expose the lens, which is then cut according to the computer analysis.

The lens is probably too far away from your cornea, so you make it closer, clearing your vision when you apply pressure.

Only happens to me when look at the sky after I have been up all night and the sun isn't quite up yet.. but I know exactly what you mean. Doesn't happen much.. I think it is just cool and wierd at the same time. A jumbled bunch of squigglies, like looking into a microscope at something in a science class.

Those are called floaters and everyone has them.
I hate them! I have them right now. I wear contacts so I have them constantly. I can look at anything at anytime of the day and see them. Sometimes I try to follow them to see where they are going and then I can't find them because they go out of my line of vision, I am sure I look like a freak trying to follow them...haha

I just wipe off my glasses when that happens.

Am I CRAZY! What are those clear falling things I see in my eyes that only I see?

I heard they're called floaters. It is clear circles I see when looking in a bright light or the sky. The clear circles are connected with a line to it. I got it when I was on computer for 3 hrs straight (most ever) and went right to bed. Then the next morning I saw them in they sky for the first and not only time. Is it a result of being on the computer so much that day and week? How do I get rid of them? Btw, they're clear, not black from detached retina. Please answer these questions

A coincidence, and NOT the computer.

Especially if you are very nearsighted, i.e. wear powerful glasses, then you want to have your eyes checked out by a good ophthalmologist who will do a dilated examination of your retina.

I only say this because it sounds like the floaters are new.

You need to get the exam done right away to make sure your retinas are not damaged in any way.

About 2% cases of new floaters are the result of bad news like retinal tears or holes. You will probably check out fine though.

The only way to ';remove'; floaters is by vitrectomy, and that's a surgical procedure is risky. It can cause lots of eye problems later, like retinal detachment, etc.

I have them too and they started only a few and now it's all i can see even in a darker room.My doctor said it;s gel that leaks from our eye lens as we get older' but i think it's a good idea for you to get your eyes checked asap' as it could be something else also' and better to be safe than sorry..Lots of luck.

My operations atarated 2 months ago. thought i would be able to see better.but no change.Now left eye weeker than right. an abraision was discovered and ha 2 weeks od hell.I never had abraision before dr said surgery went well. I think the abraision was casused by he the surgeon course he would not admitt,Meds got rid of it had been going back once a week then 2 weeks so on. it can take up to 3 months to see the full affect of surgery. your dr has determined that your vision is as corrected as it will get so he prescribed you glasses. the surgery was not guaranteed to provide you will perfect vision.

the abrasion was not your surgeon's fault it is quite common for the cornea to be scratched during surgery. i wouldn't worry about that cuz it is now healed.

i don't know where you live or how far you are willing to travel so i can't recommend another dr. but be sure to get a second opinion if it would make you feel better.

new born sees shadows and around 1-2 months is blury but better. it gets slerer when they get head controle around 4 months. thats what my baby nephew ryden did.
out of the gate they can see about 10-12 inches away only; in short near sided. as they grow older they can see farther. within six months they can see better than most adults.
It increases week by week. I know by about 3 1/2 months, to 4 months they can see much much better!

They just correct it temporarily. Same w/ contacts. The only thing that can actually correct your eyesight permanently is laser surgery.

Try taking extract of bilberry. It's been shown to help with eyes. Also, do eye exercises. If you spend a lot of time in fron of the computer, or reading, or doing other close up work, take 5 minutes every hour to focus on things far away. Try to read signs as far away as you can.

well i don't really know how to make it clearer but you can start with eating vegetables like carrots and tomatoes. they have some vitamins in it that helps. also, if you're straining your eyes because of the tv, computer, or homework, or just doing something uses a lotta concentration, close your eyes for three minutes every half hour. this rests your eyes.

what i said is just the basics and i forgot a few words but i hope this helps a little.
