Help, i got tea tree oil in my eyes! how do i clear it?? -also if i don't get it out can it impair my vision?

Ok relax, wash it out with cold water for about 5-10 minutes then dry it with a towel if it5 still burns, grab an ice pack or something like that and wrap it lightly around a towel and put it on your eyes, you can always use eye drops if it still burns. BUT wash it out first.


If it hurts tomorrow see an eye doc. just in case

run cool water gently into your eyes to rinse the oil out, flush them as much as you can and blink your eyes lots and lots. if you don't get any relief you may want to call an all night pharmacy and ask the pharmicist for advice or call you dr.'s office, there should be an answering service that can have him call you back. he may suggest that you go to the ER if you don't get any relief at home.Help, i got tea tree oil in my eyes! how do i clear it?? -also if i don't get it out can it impair my vision?
I would suggest definitely flushing them with water for a long time. And call a doctor or a pharmacist. They may give you the name of a certain brand of eye drops that would help.


To flush your eyes:


1. Go to a facet that doesn't have a very high water pressure. If it's high pressured it may hurt your eyes worse.


2. Rinse only one eye at a time, having the eye that you are rinsing closest to the sink. You will need to turn your head the opposite way to flush the other eye. This keeps the oil from running out of one eye and into the next.
