Actually, a hallmark is a label or inscription which identifies the manufacturer of a given object. Hallmarks were used in commerce for hundreds of years. Anyone who collects antique porcelain must become familiar with hallmarks, for example.

I'm sorry for your loss. We all chose to come to earth and partake of a body as part of our eternal salvation.
