It sounds to me (though I am no professional) that you may have astigmatism and possibly dry eye. It could be you know that already.
The yawning squints the eyes, tightening the muscles, and can temporarily warp the lens and make things seem sharper. Also, since the watering helps clear way some of the blurry, I'm almost betting it's dry eye.
I work on a computer all day (and play around on one half the night) and I'm a chronic dry eye sufferer. My eyes get blurry and stingy off and on throughout the day. Regularly eye drop use helps BIG TIME! I'm an avid believer in high-grade eye drops!
As with any and all eye problems, tell your Optometrist. How come when I yawn my vision becomes clearer?
The yawning produces tears in your eyes and the tears make a ';temporary contact lens'; for your eye.
